View Camera Photography is owned and operated by photographer Steven Young in northernmost Maine. As a dedicated view camera photographer, master darkroom technitian, and digital imaging aficionado,

View Camera Photography founder Steve Young has spent his working life as a photographer and a wildlife biologist.  He operated Poor Person’s Photo in Bellingham, Washington in the early 80’s, then offered specialty photography services through Young’s Photography in northernmost Maine from 1988 to 2004.  Steve is also an exhibiting photographers, having over a dozen solo exhibits in the U.S. and Canada in the last 15 years. 

In 2005, Steve and his wife of 20 years, Janice, opened One World Artisans, offering stained-glass art and supplies, photography art and services, and Fair Trade items.  “General” photography services are marketed through www.sjvphotography.com, fine-art-quality digital printing through www.archivaldigital.com, view-camera photography through this site, and wildlife and biodiversity planning through www.habitatplanning.com.
